Veolia in North America seeks an Operator I to operate and maintain water treatment and associated processing equipment at an industrial facility in Louisiana. The role focuses on meeting customer specifications and safety targets while learning to handle pumps, centrifuges, conveyors and testing devices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer-use skills, and willingness to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English and perform basic math.
• Willingness to work in a team and take on additional responsibilities.
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check; TWIC card preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment.
• Learn to operate pumps, engines, filters and testing devices to meet specifications.
• Work in a team environment and adapt to new responsibilities.
• Be available for rotational 24-hour emergency on-call if required.
