Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in water treatment operations, English proficiency, and the ability to obtain a Water Treatment Operator Certification within 12 months. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in water treatment plant operations and maintenance.
• Must obtain Water Treatment Operator Certification within 12 months.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Knowledge of maintenance terminology and plant language.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Water Treatment Dept daily.
• Monitor and record water treatment and discharge systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep area clean.
• Assist with by-product loads, deliveries, and paperwork.
• Daily testing and operation of plant water softeners.
