Job summary

EPCOR USA is seeking a Water Foreman to oversee operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with County, State, and EPA standards. You will report to the Operations Manager and provide leadership, including scheduling and performance reviews, while acting as Manager when needed.

Key responsibilities include supervising equipment, collecting samples, monitoring flows, adjusting chemical feeds, maintaining inventory, and using SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in wastewater operations.
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Grade 4 water treatment certification (or within 1 year).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Knowledge of water production, storage, distribution.
• Familiarity with safety practices in water facilities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment to meet regulatory standards.
• Collect samples and perform lab tests (pH, CL₂, LSI).
• Monitor demand and adjust flows to maintain system pressures.
• Adjust chemical feeds and pump settings to maintain treatment levels.
• Maintain chemical inventory and order supplies.
• Operate telemetry and SCADA for system control.
• Assist with safe chemical unloading and handling.
