Job summary

EPCOR USA is seeking a Water Foreman to oversee wastewater operations, ensuring safe, reliable water quality and regulatory compliance. You will supervise staff, monitor plant equipment, manage chemical handling, and coordinate with the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of wastewater operations experience.
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Grade 4 water treatment certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of water production, storage, and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with safety practices for operating electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain plant process equipment to ensure water quality.
• Collect samples and perform tests (pH, CL2, LSI, etc.).
• Monitor demand and adjust flows to maintain system pressures.
• Calculate and adjust chemical feed rates; modify pump settings as needed.
• Maintain chemical inventory and request supplies.
• Operate telemetry and SCADA systems for control.
• Assist with safe unloading and storage of chemicals.
• Perform equipment adjustments, lubrication, and minor repairs; report issues.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested.
