Job summary

PSI Water Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician based remotely from Texas to install, startup, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment.

You will travel 50-75% to customer sites across the continental United States and coordinate with engineering, project management, and sales to resolve escalated problems. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read blueprints and operate controls.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience installing/repairing/maintaining water treatment equipment or in a related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office for reports and timekeeping.
• Experience with electro-mechanical pneumatics hydraulics, AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, VFDs and pump systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems and solve them efficiently.
• Ability to read and review blueprints, plans and specifications for startup/service.
• Self-motivated with good time management and organization.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and installation assistance on-site.
• Support pre-consultation, site readiness, and startup monitoring.
• Perform on-site training of customer personnel.
• Repair machines and systems, including rebuilds and refurbishments.
• Carry out routine maintenance and document service activities.
• Make recommendations to maintenance staff and operators.
• Document defective parts and maintain parts return processes.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements at all times.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and sales to resolve issues.
• Travel 50-75% to customer sites within the continental US.
