Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC in Concord, CA is seeking a Dispatchable Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance on water treatment systems for diverse industries. You’ll work with filtration, RO, IX, de-oxygenation and UF technologies, performing troubleshooting and on-site support.

You’ll carry out electrical and controls work, maintain site documentation, monitor chemical systems, and ensure safety and contract compliance. Travel approx. 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in service/maintenance.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Science/Engineering or related field.
• Preferred: TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
• Perform analytical testing (turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, etc.).
• Enter and complete work orders in MaintainX Maintenance Program.
• Respond to customer callouts and support team during planned absences.
