Job summary
Veolia Water Technology is seeking a Field Service Representative to manage commissioning, installation, and optimization of water treatment plants. You will act as the interface between design engineering, construction teams, control systems, and customers.
The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical work, PLC/SCADA familiarity, strong problem-solving, and extensive travel (70–80%). You'll develop standard operating procedures and deliver technical instruction at customer sites
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent with hands-on field experience.
- 5+ years in water treatment, commissioning, construction, or field services.
- Strong water chemistry knowledge and engineering problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design & engineering support during reviews and safety in design.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and field service for water treatment plants.
- Perform control system tests, IO checkout, and basic PLC logic.
- Develop SOPs, training materials, and customer-facing documentation.
- Provide technical instruction and support at customer sites and trainings.
