Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a Commissioning Field Service Representative to support complex services projects, ensure successful commissioning, and drive plant optimization for customers. This role emphasizes world-class customer support, on-site and remote issue resolution, and adherence to EHS and design standards in a highly networked environment.

The position requires strong technical and people-management skills, with travel up to 80% (95% in the United States) for site

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and operate independently to deliver business results.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Knowledge of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions products, solutions, and applications.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Relevant field experience working on Veolia WTS products.
• Background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools.
• Focus on customer relationships (external and internal teams).
• Working knowledge of industrial networking and fieldbus systems.
• Mathematical skills including units, fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and safety manuals.
• Ability to work independently and plan multiple priorities.
• Adaptability to new problems, clients and situations.
• Decisiveness with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Commission water treatment projects safely from construction to commissioning and through operations.
• Resolve systemic issues by coordinating with the necessary experts.
• Use observations at customer sites to formulate resolutions for issues.
• Implement plant optimization techniques.
• Implement PLC/HMI/Controls optimization for post-commissioning closures.
• Mentor staff and partners for site visits and troubleshooting related to Veolia products.
• Manage customer expectations and uphold Veolia WTS standards at every site.
• Coordinate with service, product, engineering, and process teams to ensure issues are documented.

Education

Bachelor's degree (engineering or chemistry preferred)
