Job summary

Veolia Water Technology is seeking a fabrication technician to assist in making components and equipment for water treatment systems. You will work in a fabrication shop, operate drills, grinders, and saws, and follow strict EHS and quality standards while reading engineering drawings.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and the ability to assemble piping spools from PVC and metal, supporting the production of robust water treatment equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in mechanical trades (auto repair, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
• Trade school certificate in mechanical trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows all EHS rules and produces quality work.
• Assembles PVC and fabricated metal piping spools per quality and EHS standards.
• Interprets engineering drawings and adheres to specifications.
• Reads shop orders and BOMs, assembling water treatment equipment as part of a team.
