Kelly is seeking an Industrial Fabrication & Assembly Associate to support the production and fabrication of water treatment equipment in the Norfolk, VA area. This hands-on, entry-level role offers the chance to learn industrial fabrication and assembly on a team.

The position involves operating industrial equipment, pipe fitting, and occasional field repairs and installations, with a focus on safety and accuracy in documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fabrication machinery or similar equipment.
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work safely.
• Comfort with hand and power tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow procedures.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production and fabrication of specialized water treatment equipment and systems.
• Operate drills, band saws, ironworkers and other industrial equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble components for water treatment systems.
• Perform pipe fitting with PVC, CPVC, fiberglass, and stainless steel.
• Use hand and power tools safely following procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete required records and documentation.
• Travel to customer locations for field repairs and installations as needed.
