Xylem, a Fortune 500 global water solutions company, seeks a Water Treatment Expert Field Service Technician to service our water treatment equipment at customer sites around Orlando, FL. The role installs, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment with a company vehicle and requires strong technical/mechanical background.

The position offers day shifts with overtime, on-call rotation, comprehensive benefits from health to retirement, and opportunities for career development.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of technical experience in process water systems.
• Experience with PLCs and controls systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile devices.
• Strong customer-facing communication and safety consciousness.
• Ability to pass background checks and DOT medical certification (as applicable).

Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment Expert Field Service Technician to report to our Orlando, FL location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.

What your day will look like as a Water Treatment Expert Field Service Technician

The Water Treatment Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Position Requirements for Water Treatment Expert Field Service Technicians

• HS diploma or equivalent

• 5-7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience

• Basic controls ability (PLC)

• Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices

• Ability to work in a high customer facing position

• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

The estimated salary range for this position is $33-$36/hr. Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range. Actual starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
