Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Maintenance Operator to efficiently operate and maintain a water production, treatment and distribution system in Santa Fe, NM. The role requires NM Level III/IV certification and hands-on experience; on-call availability is expected.

The position emphasizes safety, record-keeping, and teamwork with opportunities for professional growth and on-the-job training in water certification.

Qualifications

• NEW MEXICO LEVEL III CERTIFICATION IN WATER - REQUIRED.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in water operations.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment and distribution systems; perform minor repairs.
• Read gauges, meters, and control panels; manage flow and valve operation.
• Adjust chemical dosages and monitor process controls for quality.
• Operate instrumentation and SCADA; diagnose issues and take corrective action.
• Prepare reports; document records and support training of operators.
• Maintain safety, participate in shift rotations, and carry out on-call duties.
