Requires a high school diploma and Level III certifications; expected to participate in emergency stand-by duties and support public relations efforts with the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus four years' training/experience in advanced wastewater facilities.
• Must possess NM Wastewater Systems Level III or Water Systems Level III certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater systems and equipment.
• Monitor chemical dosing, flow rates, and pump controls; collect samples.
• Prepare compliance reports for NM Environment Department and supervisors.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting; keep logs up to date.
