Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Municipal/public water system operations experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and laboratory testing aptitude.
• SCADA familiarity and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, operation, and maintenance of water treatment, well supply, and booster pump stations.
• Assist with general operation, maintenance and repair of water supply system and public works facilities.
• Operate and maintain pumps, motors, meters, and electrical circuits; perform routine testing and record results.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare reports; monitor chemical handling and bulk deliveries.
• Maintain records, input work orders, and assist with emergencies and snow removal as needed.
• Represent the City professionally to the public and coordinate with other departments.
