Kimley-Horn's Sherman, TX office seeks an Environmental or Civil Engineer with 4+ years of relevant experience to join their Water/Wastewater and Utilities team. This is not a remote position.

You will design water treatment and conveyance systems, manage projects and budgets, and collaborate with clients, regulators, and staff to deliver high‑quality results.

A Professional Engineer license is required or pending; experience with Revit and hydraulic modeling tools is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License or in progress.
• Municipal design experience including treatment and conveyance systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Design water treatment or water reclamation facilities and systems.
• Design transmission and distribution, pumping stations, and conveyance systems.
• Manage project tasks, design, permitting, budgeting, and client coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver projects.
• Ensure high-quality plans and mentor junior staff.
• Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies and monitor progress.
