Job summary

Carroll Water is hiring a Water Treatment Apprentice / Entry-Level Water Treatment Technician in Delaware. No prior water treatment experience is required as we provide hands‑on training and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced technicians.

This position offers a path to develop valuable technical skills and build a long‑term career in a growing skilled trade. You will install, service, and maintain residential and commercial water treatment systems while traveling to customer

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of water treatment systems.
• Learn to work with equipment such as water softeners, filtration, RO, neutralizers, and chemical treatment systems.
• Assist with replacing filters and performing routine maintenance.
• Collect water samples and assist with basic water testing.
• Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
• Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and job sites in a clean and organized condition.
• Travel to customer homes and job sites within the service area.
• Interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Follow all safety policies and training requirements.
