Job summary

Rwdy, Inc. is seeking a Field Operator II/III – Water Transfer Tech in Midland, TX to oversee field water-transfer operations on-site. The role involves supervising contractor activities, ensuring safety, and coordinating rig-up/rig-down and transfer processes across frac pads and other field sites.

Level II or III will be determined based on experience; compensation ranges from $65 to $70 per hour. The schedule begins with 5/2 and expands to longer days; a one-year contract with potential

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of field water-transfer experience required.
• Experience with rig-ups/rig-downs and frac pads preferred.
• Ability to supervise contractors and ensure safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight of water-transfer operations from sources to receiver sites.
• Oversee rig-up and rig-down activities for water-transfer operations.
• Support water-transfer activities at frac pads, construction, drilling, and completions.
• Supervise field water lines, hoses, poly pipes, and pumping equipment.
• Oversee pond-to-pond and supply-to-receiver transfers.
• Bird-dog contractors, ensuring proper tools, procedures and safety.
• Verify contractors use correct tools and comply with standards.
• Support safety-program expectations including PSMS and WMS.
• Represent Water Management/Water Transfer at receiver sites.
• Monitor systems for leaks; check lines and transfer points.
• Verify readiness for third-party sales activities.
• Verify connections, equipment, metering, and system integrity.
• Support diesel-extract activities as required.
• Maintain strong field presence coordinating with site personnel.
• No EFT/Open Ticket responsibilities.
