Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Field Operator II or III – Water Transfer Tech in Midland, TX, to oversee water-transfer operations in the field, including rig-up/rig-down and coordination with contractors. This 100% field-based role supports construction, drilling and completions with 2–5 years of related experience.

Expect a safety-focused role with hands-on water-transfer systems, hoses, and pond-to-pond transfers.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant water-transfer/field operations experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of field water-transfer systems, hoses, poly pipe.
• Experience supervising contractors and ensuring safety practices.
• Ability to oversee rig-up/rig-down and frac-pad operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight of water-transfer operations from sources to receiver sites.
• Oversee rig-up and rig-down activities for water-transfer operations.
• Support water-transfer activities at frac pads, construction, drilling, and completions.
• Supervise field water lines, hose, poly pipe, connections and pumps.
• Verify contractor compliance with safety programs and procedures.
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Monitor systems for leaks and readiness for third-party sales.
