Hydromax USA in Orlando, FL is hiring a Technician Trainee - Water to kickstart a career in water utilities. The role offers a structured 3-month trainee program with a clear path to Water Technician 1, and daily field work across a variety of maintenance tasks.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks and drug screening, and the stamina for outdoor field duties. Training is provided with opportunities for advancement and competitive hourly pay.

Competenze

• Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to drive to project sites.
• Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Physically capable of field work and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.

Mansioni

• Accurately collect GPS coordinates for all assigned assets.
• Safely operate, maintain, and clean all equipment.
• Gather precise data from each inspection point.
• Maintain productivity and discipline throughout the day.
• Achieve and uphold a driving score of A-90 or above.
• Use PPE and follow work zone safety protocols daily.
• Paint, scrape, and clean hydrants to meet standards.
• Perform repairs on hydrants and water main valve nuts.
• Communicate with support staff and field managers daily.
