Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on restoration technician to support water and fire damage repairs in residential and commercial settings. You will remove damaged material, set up drying equipment, and ensure a clean, safe worksite while maintaining clear communication with clients and coworkers.

Applicants should have IICRC Water Damage Restoration certification or be willing to obtain it, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform within a constantly changing environment; each day brings its own challenges and work to perform
• Repair of properties that have suffered water or fire damage
• Removal of damaged material
• Placement and use of drying equipment when needed
• Develop an understanding of water loss procedures
• Provide consistent and seamless communication to coworkers and clients
• Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite

Requirements

• Experience in water mitigation is a plus
• IICRC Water Damage Restoration is a plus
• Experience in commercial and residential restoration is a plus
• Experience using small to medium power tools to remove building materials
• Access to reliable transportation to and from work
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
• Available for occasional on call shifts
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods in semi-confined spaces
• A willingness to work in potentially hot, cold, or wet environments
• The upmost respect of the safety of self and others
