Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Water/Wastewater Systems Technician I is preferred/required for advancement.
• Experience or exposure to facility plant operations, laboratory work, or mechanical/electrical/instrumentation maintenance is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, monitor, and adjust water treatment plants to meet regulatory standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on treatment plant equipment.
• Prepare and submit operating and regulatory reports and SOPs.
• Conduct laboratory testing and sampling following state and federal guidelines.
• Assist with housekeeping and general plant and grounds maintenance.
