Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid CDL license or ability to obtain Class A CDL within 6 months of hire.
• Asbestos Operations and Maintenance Certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Water Distribution Operator Trainee Permit or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Level “D” Water Distribution Operator License within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain water lines, valves, hydrants, water meters, etc.
• Perform labor-intensive tasks (digging, hand tools, hauling, setting up work zones, directing traffic, maintaining right of ways).
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
