Job summary

A. O. Smith is seeking a seasoned leader to manage the service and installation team at the Clean Water Center in Appleton, Wisconsin. You will direct daily work, supervise installations, and ensure a superior customer experience on every job.

The role requires an associate degree and at least seven years in related work, with strong plumbing/HVAC, inventory, and budgeting experience to drive quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field.
• Minimum 7 years of related work experience.
• Experience in customer service, plumbing, HVAC, or other mechanical background.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices including ordering, receiving, physical inventory and E&O.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Preferred but not required: Plumbing or Restricted Appliance Plumbing License.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Focus on quality control and training.
• Budgeting and sales development experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted by equipment.
• Ability to utilize equipment to move up to 100lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage the service and installation team for the Clean Water Center in Appleton, WI.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to the team including assigning daily work, overseeing installation, and ensuring a positive customer experience with each install.
