Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Product Engineering Co-op in North Andover, MA, to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects. You will support design, validation, and documentation of water-system products in a hybrid work setting.

The role provides hands-on experience across the product development lifecycle, from concept through testing and manufacturing, with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Sophomore–Senior standing with 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Familiarity with engineering design principles and product development processes.
• Experience with 3D CAD software; Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of new products and improvements.
• Create and update CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and test reports.
• Support engineering analyses to evaluate concepts, performance, feasibility.
• Participate in product testing and data documentation.
• Assist with DFMA/ DFA initiatives and manufacturing considerations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Product Management.
