Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.

• Must obtain CDL Class B within 6 months of hire and Class I Water/Wastewater certification within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, maintenance, and minor construction of water systems.
• Repair water lines and sewer lines; service installations.
• Install, maintain, and flush fire hydrants; meters and lids.
• Maintain grounds at water towers and manage system chemicals.
• Keep accurate records of work in prescribed system.
• Read meters and respond to emergency after-hours calls.
