California Water Service Group is seeking a Water Systems Engineer to support district infrastructure in San Jose, Bakersfield, or Torrance. You will assess water systems, collect data, and plan improvements under regulatory criteria.
The role requires a Civil Engineering background, 4+ years in water utilities, and communication skills to present findings to leadership. Travel to field sites is expected.
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of four years in water utility engineering or related fields.
- California Engineer in Training preferred; PE registration preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic analyses and water system planning.
- Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and project justifications.
Mansioni
- Assess district water systems to identify capital needs and improvements.
- Lead planning meetings to prioritize projects for rate cases and budgets.
- Develop conceptual scopes and planning-level cost estimates for water infrastructure.
- Coordinate field investigations, permitting, and specialized support.
- Prepare exhibits and documentation for CPUC and regulatory filings.
