California Water Service in Chico, CA is seeking a Water Utility Engineer to plan, design, and deliver capital projects including wells, tanks, pumps, and pipelines. The role requires collaboration with districts, consultants, and permitting agencies to ensure timely delivery and compliant design.

The engineer will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, perform cost estimation, and assist in PUC filings. ABET-accredited degree and 2+ years' water experience are preferred; EIT/PE is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• Minimum of two years of experience in design and management of water distribution or treatment system projects.
• EIT desirable or California PE preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to write clear reports and liaise with agencies.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and read easements/permits.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction progress, change orders, invoices, and RFIs.
• Coordinate with districts for permits and project timelines.
