Job summary
Sonoma Water is hiring a journey-level Water Agency Electrician/Instrumentation Technician II to maintain electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across its facilities. You will install, calibrate, and repair digital and analog equipment, while supporting construction activities in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
The ideal candidate has experience in public utilities, knowledge of NFPA 70/70E and control schematics, and the ability to shift between planned and emergency work to
Qualifications
- Associate degree or vocational program in electronics/electrical technology plus three years of relevant work experience.
- Possession of California driver’s license; high desirability for California Water certifications (T1, D1, Grade 1) or Electrical Instrumentation Grade 2+.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective, preventative, and routine maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Install, calibrate, repair, and replace electrical equipment, machinery, switchgears, and controllers.
- Collaborate with engineering staff on construction and maintenance projects to keep critical systems operational.
