Job summary

TYLin is seeking an intern for our Bellevue office for Summer 2027 as a Water Engineering Designer intern. You will assist engineers across a range of water infrastructure projects, from pump stations to transmission systems, gaining hands-on experience through meaningful, collaborative work.

The role emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and eagerness to learn and apply new engineering methods.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd year undergraduate in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or MicroStation preferred.
• Experience with ArcGIS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feasibility studies, functional plans, and preliminary detailed design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Perform calculations and analysis.
• Assist in obtaining permits and approvals for construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Attend site visits or inspections.
