Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Summer 2027 WaterApply intern in our Bellevue, WA office to assist engineers with feasibility studies, design for water and wastewater infrastructure, and project monitoring. The role offers hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, preparing you for a career in civil engineering.

Requires rising junior status in Civil Engineering, proficiency with Word/Excel, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation; ArcGIS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires current 3rd year standing in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or MicroStation; ArcGIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feasibility studies, functional plans, and preliminary detailed design for water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Perform calculations and analysis.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals to proceed with construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Attend site visits or inspections.
