Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring a Material Handler II – Water Spider for the 3rd shift in Keosauqua, IA. You will support production by tracking parts, resolving issues, and assisting with workflows across departments.

The role requires blueprint literacy, use of measuring tools, and a proactive, team-based approach to continuous improvement. The position offers hourly pay with eligibility for discretionary bonus and potential commissions, reflecting performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Proficiency with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Demonstrated teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned department by tracking parts and resolving issues.
• Communicate with team members and across departments as needed.
• Read and interpret job orders, BOMs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Identify parts and tools needed from work orders and prepare accordingly.
• Assist with lean initiatives and continuous improvement events.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to safety equipment requirements and PPE guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
