Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II – Water Spider for the 3rd shift in Keosauqua, IA. The role supports production by tracking parts, resolving issues, and coordinating with team members across departments.

You will read blueprints and schematics, identify required tools, assist with lean initiatives, and help maintain a safe, organized work area while adapting to changing production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated understanding of production operations.
• Assist assigned department with tracking parts, resolving issues, and communicating with team members.
• Lead responsibilities when needed.
• Read and comprehend a job order, bill of materials, blueprint, text, or schematic drawings.
• Identify parts and part descriptions using work order information and identify proper tools needed to perform duties in respective area.
• Support lean initiatives on the floor and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and use appropriate safety equipment.
