Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Centerville, IA is hiring a Material Handler II – Water Spider for 1st shift. You will support the department by tracking parts, resolving issues, and communicating across teams. Read and interpret orders, BOMs, and schematics to identify parts and tools.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience, with strong teamwork and problem solving. Safety and continuous improvement are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned department with tracking parts, resolving issues, and communicating with team members.
• Read and interpret job orders, BOMs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Identify parts using work order information and select proper tools.
• Support lean initiatives on the floor and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; adhere to safety PPE requirements.
