Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II - Water Spider to support the assembly and manufacturing process in Water Spider duties. You will assist with parts tracking, issue resolution, and cross-department communication on the first shift.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, using hand tools and measuring devices, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to ensure smooth production operations. Safety and quality are priorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned department by tracking parts and resolving issues.
• Communicate with team members and across departments.
• Read and comprehend job orders, bill of materials, blueprints, or schematics.
• Identify parts and tools needed from work order information.
• Support lean initiatives and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Operate assembly-type tasks with hand or power tools.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
