Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Material Handler / Production Line Support (Water Spider) to keep production lines stocked with materials, components, and supplies. The role involves frequent walking and material movement throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.

You'll deliver materials to workstations, replenish inventory via Kanban, monitor levels, and stage items for upcoming runs. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred, with a focus on SOP adherence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, or production experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with Kanban, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S is a plus.
• Basic computer or inventory system skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs and written work instructions.
• Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials and components to production workstations.
• Replenish inventory using Kanban signals and established routes.
• Monitor material levels and prevent production shortages.
• Stage materials and tools for upcoming production runs and changeovers.
• Remove empty containers, packaging, scrap, and finished goods.
• Communicate material shortages or quality concerns to Warehouse and Production teams.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S standards.
• Assist with production or assembly when needed.
