Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, IA is hiring a Material Handler II – Water Spider to support sheet metal, welding, painting, and kitting operations on a 3rd shift. The role requires reading blueprints, tracking parts, and coordinating with multiple departments.

Onsite, hourly, non-exempt, within the Operations team. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience, with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned department by tracking parts, resolving issues, and communicating with team members.
• Read and comprehend a job order, BOM, blueprint, text, or schematic drawings.
• Identify parts and descriptions using work orders and select proper tools.
• Assist with lean initiatives and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and use required safety equipment.
