Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II – Water Spider to support sheet metal, welding, painting and kitting operations on the 3rd shift. You will understand department processes, track parts, resolve issues and communicate with team members.

Responsibilities include reading job orders, BOMs, blueprints and schematics; identifying parts and tools; supporting lean initiatives and continuous improvement events; adapting to changes; and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned department by tracking parts and resolving issues.
• Read and interpret job orders, BOMs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Identify parts and tools needed for tasks.
• Assist with lean initiatives and continuous improvement events.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
