Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II – Water Spider to support final assembly and sub-assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. You will assist with tracking parts, resolving issues, and communicating across teams to keep production moving.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, using hand tools and measuring devices, and adapting to changing production needs. A high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand department processes and needs to provide support to assigned department.
• Track down parts, resolve issues, and communicate with team members.
• Assume Lead responsibilities when needed.
• Read and comprehend job orders, bills of materials, blueprints, and schematics.
• Identify parts and tools from work orders and prepare proper tools for duties.
• Support lean initiatives on the floor and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Adapt to rapidly changing situations and perform assembly-type tasks with hand or power tools.
• Read rulers, tape measurers, and other measuring instruments.
