TST Tactical Defense Solutions, Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Civil Utility Skilled Laborer to assist with installation and maintenance of water, sewer, and drainage systems on site.

You will read plans, follow safety guidelines, operate hand and power tools, dig trenches, load materials, and coordinate with foreman. Candidates must reside within Hampton Roads commuting area and be able to obtain base access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in utility or general construction.
• Knowledge of underground utility installations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman with construction-related tasks including heavy lifting and site prep.
• Assemble and construct pipe systems for water, sewer, and drainage.
• Signal operators and coordinate movements on site.
• Read and use tape measures to verify depths and alignments.
