Job summary

TST TACTICAL DEFENSE SOLUTIONS, INC. is seeking a Civil/Utility Field Operations Manager to direct daily field operations across multiple civil construction and underground utility projects in the Hampton Roads area.

You will lead Foremen and field crews, plan work sequencing, and maintain an active jobsite presence to meet safety, quality, and production goals. You will collaborate with Project Managers, coordinate resources, and ensure field documentation supports billing and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated field leadership experience in civil construction or underground utilities.
• Experience directing multiple crews and allocating resources.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and field reporting.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Civil/Utility field operations across multiple active projects.
• Direct Foremen and field crews, establish field priorities and safety standards.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and field resources based on schedules and conditions.
• Coordinate sequencing with Project Managers and Foremen; support two-week look-ahead planning.
• Maintain a regular field presence to monitor progress and resolve issues.
