The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Utility Line Technician to support Water Distribution and Sewer Systems. You’ll perform maintenance, repairs, CCTV inspections, smoke testing, and flow monitoring to keep services safe and reliable for residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years’ utilities experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a TCEQ license within 12 months. The role requires physical work and on-call readiness.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required and two years’ utilities experience.
• Must pass a physical and drug screen and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a TCEQ Water Distribution D license within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair water and sewer systems to keep operations running.
• CCTV investigations and assessments of the wastewater system.
• Smoke testing and manhole inspections to identify issues.
• Flow monitoring equipment installation, monitoring and maintenance.
• Provide customer support and troubleshooting to residents and contractors.
• Perform hands-on, physical work and complete city forms/reports.
