Job summary

The City of Aubrey (TX) is seeking a Maintenance Tech to support water and sewer system maintenance, street and park upkeep, and related city services. The role involves outdoor work, safety compliance, and assisting multiple departments as needed.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, maintaining equipment, and completing daily reports. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and travel for meetings/training as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Texas class C driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Certificate of training for water and safety courses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer systems.
• Assist in cleaning, inspecting and repairing sewer mains.
• Maintain safety regulations and use proper barricades and signage.
• Provide backup support and on-call coverage for other city departments.
• Answer emergency calls and complete daily work reports.
