Qualifications

• Completion of high school or GED and some experience in performing general manual work.
• General mechanical ability and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license issued by the State of Tennessee.
• Pre-employment physical and background check required.
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain indoor and outdoor facilities, open green spaces, and landscaped areas.
• Assist with set-up and cleanup for programs, events, and rentals.
• Perform general lawn care, weed-eating, mowing, pruning, and edge work.
• Sweep streets, collect refuse, and assist with hauling materials as needed.
• Assist in water services installation, mains and hydrants repairs, and sewer line work.
• Operate light maintenance equipment under supervision and assist with repairs.
• Support on emergency calls such as winter snow removal and water main/ sewer repairs.
