Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; six months related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within six months.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends for emergencies or on-call duties.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret procedures or regulations; communicate clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to internal and external customers; maintain positive working relationships.
• Gather supplies and equipment for job assignments; fix water and sewer leaks to keep lines in good order.
• Install mains for water and sewer; install taps as needed; repair leaks.
• Operate backhoe and dump truck as required; perform manual labor with shovel; maintain equipment.
• Participate in on-call duty and rotation; ensure public health and safety per regulations.
