Job summary

Clearwater Solutions is seeking an entry-level Field Technician (level 1) in Fayetteville, GA. The role involves assisting with pipe repairs, landscaping, and general labor tasks as part of water and sewer service operations.

Responsibilities include reading meters, logging data, inspecting meters, repairing mains, and coordinating with supervisors. The position may require weekend and overtime work and valid driving privileges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• 1 year experience in water distribution or related field preferred.
• Able to work weekends and overtime.
• Able to work independently and understand water systems.

Responsibilities

• Review service orders to determine meter readings locations.
• Read water meters and enter data in route logs.
• Maintain paperwork and logs per Federal, State and local rules.
• Inspect meters and connections for defects or damages.
• Repair and/or replace broken water mains and service lines.
• Communicate meter problems or incorrect readings to Supervisor/PM.
• Operate company vehicle to conduct meter readings on assigned route.
• Connect and disconnect utility services as directed.
• Ensure data in the utility log book is accurate and updated.
• Perform landscape maintenance (mowing, trimming, clean-ups).
• Perform other related duties as directed.
