The City of Glendale's Water Services Department is seeking a Water Services System Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled construction, maintenance and repair across Water Distribution, Waste Water Collection and Storm Water divisions. Two years of related experience are required, with the ability to operate a range of equipment including trucks, backhoes, jetter/vacuum trucks, and CCTV systems.

A valid Arizona Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire is required,

Competenze

Two years' experience in construction, maintenance, and repair.
Experience operating light to heavy equipment related to the area of assignment.
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for required education.

Mansioni

Performs skilled and semi-skilled construction, maintenance, and repair work.
Operates light to heavy equipment including trucks, backhoe, jetter/vacuum truck, and CCTV equipment.
Maintains safety, barricading, and traffic control per regulations.
Maintains daily work records and performs data entry.
Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs water and sewer mains, valves, hydrants, meters, and storm water facilities.
