Job summary

The City of North Richland Hills is seeking a Water Operations Technician to ensure clean, safe, and reliable water services. You will collect water samples, generate required reports for the City and TCEQ, and oversee SCADA and water distribution systems.

You will perform pump house maintenance and repairs, supervise field staff, and interact with city employees and citizens. A valid Texas driver’s license is required and the position is based on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• One year of experience in water and wastewater pumping, SCADA system operation, or other related operations.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct water samples and generate required reports for City and TCEQ.
• Oversee SCADA and Water distribution systems.
• Provide Pump House maintenance and repair services.
• Supervise personnel and interact with City employees and citizens.
• This position does not provide direction to other employees.
