Job summary

The Inter-American Development Bank seeks an experienced Water and Sanitation Executive Consultant to support the Chief of the Water and Sanitation Division in INE. You will manage the executive agenda, prepare briefing materials, monitor decisions and deadlines, and help ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

You will conduct analyses of the Division’s portfolio, coordinate inputs for reports, and develop templates and standards for recurring briefs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or specialized training in executive management or project management is desirable.
• At least five years of relevant experience, including three years of executive support to senior management.
• English and Spanish proficiency required; Portuguese/French desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses on portfolio, priorities, performance, and risks to inform management.
• Prepare briefing packages for meetings and external engagements with background notes and talking points.
• Produce analytical reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for senior management.
• Conduct targeted research on country, sector, and policy developments relevant to the Division.
• Coordinate inputs for briefs, set deadlines, and review for clarity and accuracy.
• Analyze Division data to support planning, resource allocation, and decision-making.
• Maintain a division-level system to track decisions, deadlines, and action items.
• Develop and maintain templates and quality standards for analytical products and briefing materials.
• Manage Division Chief’s calendar, travel, and meeting logistics.
