This part-time role supports a federal Legionella water management program and requires local residency or access within daily commuting distance. You will collect ~25 samples monthly, maintain Chain of Custody, and coordinate with hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Collect approximately 25 water samples per month from hospital and outlying buildings.
• Coordinate sampling schedule with the hospital’s designated representative before each event.
• Complete Chain of Custody documentation fully for every sampling event.
• Package and ship samples to the laboratory with proper handling and temperature control.
• Photograph the completed COC and submit it to the Project Coordinator after each event.
• Follow all facility safety, infection-control, and access protocols.
• Communicate scheduling and supply needs to the Project Coordinator.
