Qualifications

• Must reside in or near Chinle, AZ (Navajo Nation) within daily commuting distance.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for outlying sampling locations.
• REAL ID-compliant identification or equivalent federal credential.
• Able to meet facility access requirements for a healthcare setting.
• Available during facility business hours; sampling requires hospital escort.

Responsibilities

• Collect approximately 25 water samples per month from designated points across the hospital and outlying buildings.
• Coordinate sampling schedule and facility access with the hospital’s representative.
• Complete Chain of Custody documentation fully and legibly for every event.
• Package and ship samples to the laboratory with proper handling and temperature control.
• Photograph the completed COC and submit to the Project Coordinator after each event.
• Follow all facility safety, infection-control, and access protocols.
• Communicate scheduling, supply needs, and access issues promptly to the Project Coordinator.
